About the Author

Daniel Aiken was born and raised in Alaska. He works as an engineer supporting human spaceflight programs in Houston, Texas, where he lives with his wife and daughter.

Dark Star Protocol is his debut novel.

Daniel writes about a future that is not dystopian, but filled with wonder, discovery, and challenges worthy of humanity’s potential. He believes our greatest obstacles can be overcome through science, perseverance, and people choosing the greater good over themselves.
